Size of the Table???

Just found this forum and hope someone can help. I'm in the planning stages of building a new house which I will be having a game room. Plenty large enough for a high quality pool table, even a 9" table. My question is should I go with a 9", 8.5" or 8" table...

9ft. is the way to go. Here's a photo of my room at home on the 2nd floor of the house, the table weights 1,000kg = 2,200lbs and this will give you and idea of size. My room is 29'x22', it's a big room. Your minimum size for a 9ft. table is 18'x14' if anything you go bigger. Good luck with your project.
