Thinking of using tulipwood on my next cue
what do you guys like with tulipwood. Aside from ebony since I already have an ebony based cue on the backburner.

I saw a Kersenbrock recently that was tulipwood points into curly maple. It looked awesome and obviously very different than the much more common ebony forearm.
Sweet looking cue once again Brent. ![]() |

I built several combinations with tulip wood , I would have to say my favorite was a tulip forarm and butt sleeve wuth a bloodwood handle. It was accented with only brass rings , really looked elegant together. Just a thought. Does make a great hitting cue with the right piece though.
Thanx, Jim |
