moderators - Billiards-Talk Forums

The moderators here really need to be able to trash some of these "for sale" threads that have been plague-ing the board, AND be able to ban the guys posting them...They're using your board as their own "spam, crap for sale" forum!! Just my opinion, but isn't this SUPPOSED to be only a billiards related site?

We're working on it. A few of us have limited powers here that hinder banning and hard deleting of threads. George is working on cleaning some of it up and bumping up some powers so a few of us can police the place a little better.

This always happens with boards like this so be patient and it will get taken care of.

I will be bumping some of the mods to super mods when I set the powers restrictions.

I have implanted a mod that will auto delete most of the threads from now on we will see how it works soon as more spam comes through. I been away because my hard drive crashed but I think its fixed now.

Sounds good George. I think with that we can eliminate the spammers, and continue to see this site improve.

BTW George, how are things with your new son. My wife and I had a baby girl about six weeks ago and it's awesome. Hopefully your boy is doing well now and you are enjoying the experience.
