In an ideal situation how many hours a week would you practice.

I used to practice a lot but now I get just a little time each week to practice and I've noticed its effect on my game.

I've always wanted to get in about 2 solid hours a day.

Oh man, at least 40 hours a week. I already shoot like 20-30 on good weeks.

I don't own my own table, so that would be hard to say. I own a dart board and a foosball table and never practice on either of them anymore. The only time I play is when I get a group of people together to drink some beer.

So when you ask "In an ideal situation how many hours a week would you practice", I'd like to answer 40 but if you take into account the reality of my practicing habits then it would end up being very little. I find with most things, you need a partner if you expect to keep it up on a consistent basis.

Ideal situations ... Lets see first off I'd like to be 30 yrs younger, and still be retired.
Secondly... i'd like to remember all the advice that i have forgot over the years,as now alot of it makes sense to me.
So with this ideal situation i could see myself putting in 40hrs a week. As it is now, having my own table being, retired i play about 1 hrs a day and maybe practice 1. Week ends if we have company i will play 2-4.
